Meningitis Research Foundation:
Meningitis Research Foundation is a national registered charity whose vision is a world free from meningitis and septicaemia. The Foundation is fighting death and disability from these diseases, and supports people affected by them.
Meningitis Trust merged with Meningitis UK in 2013, and became Meningitis Now. It’s a new name but they have the same goals – to save lives and rebuild futures by funding research, raising awareness and providing support.
Project Harar works in collaboration with Ethiopian and foreign specialists plastic, oral and maxillofacial surgeons to treat children affected by a variety of conditions, to give them normal facial function and a chance to live dignified lives within their home community.

together we can… is the fundraising partnership for Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital, Evelina London Children’s Hospital and South London and Maudsley, with academic partner King’s College London. Together these organisations are King’s Health Partners.
I was treated at St. Thomas’ and Guys for all of my treatment. When I woke up in ICU, I asked my parents if we were in a private hospital. When they said no I thought they were lying to hide the expense… they were and are THAT good. I will never be able to thank them enough.
Protecting Our Tomorrows – Portraits of Meningococcal Disease:
Lead by famous photographer Anne Geddes, the project aims to broaden awareness of the importance of meningococcal disease prevention and empower parents to ask about meningococcal disease and vaccinations to help protect their children.
