So it looks as if I will be having another big operation in the middle of May. It’s not 100% confirmed yet but I just saw my consultant Ms. Rose. It’s a very strange feeling when you have been in one place, one bed, one view for 6 weeks. It’s completely absurd to think you won’t see the same people every day like you are used to. Day +212 since being diagnosed with Meningococcal Septicaemia Day +26 since being back (again!) on Alan Apley Ward @ St. Thomas’ This morning I had surgery to remove the nail beds completely on my right index, middle and ring fingers.
